In our project, we interviewed the numerous stores in Jinwanwan as well as the friends who came around. A unique dating map was made based on people's favorite dating spots in Taiwan with the reasons for their preferences. Let's have a look!
Good places to go for a walk and shopping:
There are many free open areas in Taipei where people can walk around with partners or families during their free time. People usually choose free spaces and natural environments where they can feel physically and spiritually relaxed. In particular, picnics at parks is a very popular activity. Nice photos can also be taken in these good-view locations.

Eating and chatting without feeling tired:
Many of the Filipino friends making a living in Taiwan are working around the clock, sometimes even during the weekend. They may only have one free day per month. Thus, this precious time should be given to besties or boyfriends with whom they could chat about love or any other things. The key to restaurant selection is economic and long opening hours, better if they are open 24 hours or convenient for take-outs and deliveries so that people can gather together after work and enjoy meal time together.
- City Star (Many branches are open 24/7, so they wouldn’t be rushed away as they eat with their lovers and friends.)
- Napoli Pizza (Friends working or shopping in Jinwanwan love eating pizza and fried chicken, so they would usually have take-outs on Sundays and eat together in Jinwanwan.)
- The Top (Located in Yangminshan, it is a scenic-view restaurant suitable for a romantic date with a night view.)
- True Love Peach Blossom Spring (A restaurant with a gorgeous landscape view, suitable for dating or special-day celebrations.)
